Easter Egg Hunt
The Cricket Club are organising an Easter Egg Hunt around the local area to the Cricket Pitch. All children need to register to take part. Registration will be allowed on the day. More information can be found on the Cricket Club Website.

''Hartshorne Cricket Club are actively seeking volunteers to help look after the pavilion during senior home match days to serve hot drinks / snacks etc. Matches start at 1.30 pm each Saturday, at our home ground at Rodney Meadows, Hartshorne. If you can help for some/all of the afternoon/evening we would really appreciate it! Contact Steve Tomlin by email if you are able to help.

Bullet South Derbyshire District Council warns of a new Council Tax Scam
Residents of South Derbyshire are being warned about a Council Tax Scam operatiung around the area. SDDC was contacted by a resident who claimed to have received a telephone call from someone claiming to act on behalf of the council. Claiming residents owe money as their Council Tax has been altered. Further details can be found on the County Council Website.

There are two resident associations within the Hartshorne Parish; The Hartshorne Village Residents Association (HVRA) and the Lee Wood Valley Residents Association (LWVRA)in the Midway Area.

The HVRA will be holding their AGM in the Dethick Hall on Wednesday 17th May 2017 starting at 7pm. All residents living in the village are welcome to attend.
