Facilities in the Village

You can worship at the local church of St Peters, set in upper Hartshorne or visit the Methodist Chapel in Repton Road.

There is a primary school in the village. See their web site here

There is plenty of B&B accommodation in the village and neighbouring villages. Stay with ensuite at either The Mill Wheel or The Bulls Head 01283 215299.

You can have your hair cut at the hairdressers, have a drink and something to eat at a number of pubs and get a bus to neighbouring village and towns.

Oh, and you can post a parcel or letter to your friends at the Post Office whose services are available in the Dethick Hall, Manchester Lane on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9:30 to 12 noon. A community bus is provided by the Parish Council to take all those wishing to visit the Post Office on these days.
