following telephone numbers should be used when wishing to make
contact with the Police.
Swadlincote
Police Station - 01283 550101
This is open to the public for enquires
between
9am - 8pm, Monday to Friday
9am - 5pm, Saturday
10am - 2pm Sunday
Please use this number to contact
us for enquires, getting in touch with your community officer etc.
This is not the telephone number to
ring for prompt Police attention. This does not mean there are no
Police Officers patrolling the area. The operational staff work
on a three shift, 24 hour cover basis.
Derby
Police Station - 01332 290100
This station houses the control room where
patrolling Police Officers are dispatched to incidents which require
prompt Police attendance. Therefore this is the telephone number
to ring when you require prompt police attendance.
Emergency
Services - 999
This is used to contact the Police, Fire
Service, Ambulance, Coast Guard and Mountain Rescue. This is for
'Emergencies'; unforeseen or sudden occurrences, demanding immediate
action. Remember to clarify the area from which you are calling.
Crime
Stoppers - 0800 555 111
This free phone number can be used to give
information about anyone committing any crimes or dealing in drugs
in your area. You will not be asked your name and address. Cash
rewards are payable to persons giving information leading to the
arrest and charge of any person, even without disclosing your name
and address.
